How Boone's Multi-Day Record Works
Boone County has no single long-running police blotter database. The sheriff-linked RPS system covers current inmates, plus new inmates and releases inside a 48-hour window. Harrison Daily Times works differently. Its public-record pages run in dated editions, carrying Harrison Police Department narratives, bond details, and mentions of Boone County Jail. The paper prints Tuesday through Saturday mornings. Its issue files are not a certified jail feed, and arrests outside Harrison can slip past them. KHOZ reports selected investigations and arrests. It publishes no recurring booking table.

Publication date is not arrest date. Boone County sources differ in scope. Start from the event date. A blotter entry can lag a booking by days.
- Check the official Recent Releases and current roster.
- Compare name, arrest time, agency, charges and release time.
- Consult a dated Harrison Daily Times issue for added narrative or bond context.
- Keep the exact issue date because there is no stable newspaper feed.
- Use Search ARCourts or the clerk for disposition.
For a fresh booking, the Arrests Last 24 Hours page explains Boone's actual 48-hour new-inmate boundary.
Boone Arrest-Log Entry Fields
A jail card states bare facts. Newspaper prose adds story and context. The Boone County arrest log and news print answer different questions. Treat them as separate sources.
| Item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name and photo | RPS intake fields; a photo is not proof of guilt. |
| Arrest date/time | Event time, not web-posting time. |
| Arrested by | Agency label, including sheriff, HPD or another agency. |
| Charges | Charges as booked, not final counts. |
| Release date/time | Departure data when supplied. |
| Narrative and bond | Possible newspaper context requiring official verification. |
Note: An address city is not necessarily the arrest location, and the Boone feed is a facility-intake view.
Weekend Boone Arrest Reports
No source promises a midnight update. None offers a holiday schedule for the RPS roster either. Intake delays, maintenance, and edition timing all affect when an arrest first appears. A Monday search should span the rolling roster plus later newspaper issues. Do not rely on one page. The new-inmate view has carried entries from Harrison Police and the Boone County Sheriff. It also lists another county's sheriff plus probation or parole labels. It is not an HPD-only blotter.
Boone Blotter Source Captures
The official release view documents Boone's short roll-off window.

Use this view beside current custody listings. It is not a full Boone County archive. The Harrison Daily Times adds issue-based local context. Old arrest reports still sit in its printed issues.

News coverage plays a secondary role here. Sheriff and court records lead the way. The KHOZ local-news page reports selected Boone County events. It rounds out the record without replacing it.

KHOZ is a story source, not a complete arrest feed.
Boone Archives Beyond the Online Log
For an old booking, ask the sheriff. Ask whether the record is held, transferred, or lawfully disposed of. Arkansas Code section 13-4-404 sets a retention rule. It requires at least five years for jail booking photos and detention logs. Five years online is not guaranteed, though. The sheriff FAQ supplies a form. It also lists cidadmin@boonesheriff.com and 5800 Law Drive, Harrison, AR 72601. The CID Clerk answers availability and any fee within three business days. Older material may sit with the Arkansas State Archives. It warns that recent files stay at the courthouse and old runs can have gaps. Contact 501-682-6900 or state.archives@arkansas.gov. Include the county, date, person, agency, and record type.
Boone Arrest Reports Are Not Verdicts
Check final outcomes with the court. An old article does not prove anyone is still in custody. Roster cards and news stories both sit upstream of the legal process. The clerk's docket is where the record ends.
