Boone County's Real Booking Window
One near-live source does most of the work. It is the RPS New Inmates page. The sheriff's roster provider runs it, and its heading reads "Inmates Booked in Last 48 Hours." A same-day check works well enough. The page is not a strict 24-hour or since-midnight list; it covers a rolling 48-hour window. It tracks bookings at the Boone County Detention Center. A Harrison police arrest, a sheriff arrest, or another agency's arrest appears whenever that person is lodged at Boone. Someone cited and released at the scene may not. The agency label is no complete activity log for that department.
The sheriff roster gateway sorts people two ways. Current inmates sit on one side. People released within the past 48 hours sit on the other. Those are custody states, not a permanent arrest archive for Boone County.
Check Boone County Arrests Today
Pick the source that fits a fresh booking first. Widen the search only if that does not settle it. The habit prevents two common mistakes. An old release can look like today's arrest, and a similar name can point at the wrong person entirely.
- Open New Inmates and verify the page still identifies its 48-hour scope.
- Use its name and sort controls, then compare name, age, city and arresting agency.
- Read the arrest date, time and all listed charges without treating them as a court result.
- If the person is absent, check Current Inmates and Recent Releases.
- For a timely custody question, call Boone County Detention Center at 870-429-1406.
Follow-up goes beyond the jail list. The Boone County recent-arrests hub lays out court and records steps. A missing name settles nothing. No arrest may have occurred, or the person may simply be held in another county's jail.
Boone Recent-Arrest Card Fields
Each card pairs a booking photo with intake facts. Name and city alone prove little. Read the photo, charge, and intake details together before calling it a match. That is the surest way to pin down who was actually booked in Boone County.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Spelling supplied in the jail record. |
| Booking photograph | Intake image. |
| Race, sex, age | Source metadata for distinguishing names. |
| City/state | Address field, not necessarily arrest location. |
| Arrest date/time | Event time, not web-posting time. |
| Arrested by | Agency named in the booking record. |
| Charges | Accusations as booked; disposition can differ. |
| Release date/time | Shown when supplied after departure. |
Note: A booking number is not consistently visible on every public Boone card, so do not assume one will appear.
When Boone's Roster Is Offline
Roster downtime happens. The sheriff-hosted roster page has shown an "Inmate Roster Offline for Maintenance" notice at times, while the direct RPS provider still loaded fine. That means temporary access trouble, not the end of booking publication. Try the gateway and the provider separately. Then recheck after intake or maintenance time passes. If both fail, call the jail. Record copies run through Arkansas FOIA instead. The sheriff FAQ lists jail-booking records among what may be available, and requests can go through the Boone County Sheriff's Office FOIA form, cidadmin@boonesheriff.com, or mail to 5800 Law Drive, Harrison, AR 72601. The CID Clerk gets three business days to research availability and any fee, which is not a delivery promise.
Boone Booking Access in the RPS App
The provider also offers RPS Inmate Info for Apple and Android. Think of it as another Relativity/RPS interface. It is not a Boone-branded police news feed. The RPS roster interface shows the access point, and sheriff site alerts cover site items rather than documented booking alerts.

This capture documents navigation, not a gallery of people.
Boone County New-Inmate Evidence
The New Inmates source visibly labels the recent-booking period.

Always check the live heading first. It defines the real scope of the new-inmate list. The sheriff roster gateway then splits current custody from recent release. Those two views together answer most booking questions.

The separate choices help track a booking as custody changes.
A Boone Arrest Is Not Guilt
A booking card is an intake snapshot. It captures the charges listed when a person entered the Boone County jail. The photo comes from that same moment. Courts handle everything that happens after booking.
Want the wider story? The Boone County Police Blotter tracks incidents, not just bookings. VINELink handles custody status. Use both together for the fullest picture.
